Ms. Hallmark's Elementary Reading Product Team has partnered with Eastover Elementary School in Bloomfield Hills to provide booktalks for the 5th grade. Eastover media specialist Ms. Lisa Kelley, IA teacher Ms. Jamie Hallmark and IA Technology Coordinator Mrs. Mary Miner collaborated to have IA students read and record video booktalks and post them to this blog site.

This is absolutely fantastic! You met all of the criteria of a wonderful booktalk. I really like how you drew me in with a question and then teased me with the story without giving away the end or any significant plot details. I also liked the way that you made it fun and interesting! If I hadn't already read the book I would want to rush out and get it right now!
